The Dallas Fort Worth Area Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) will host its 5th DFW Student Extravaganza for accounting and finance students on September 21st at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), JSOM 1.118, 800 W Campbell Rd, Richardson, Texas. We are expecting 80-125 students from many of the DFW area universities. From 12:00 to 2:15, students will visit employer/sponsor booths. Employers will have the opportunity to meet the students, share information about their company and industry, and help the students prepare to enter the job market. If the company is in the market for new graduates or interns, it will also provide an opportunity to collect resumes, set up interviews, etc. In addition, they are welcome to participate in all other parts of the event.
The charge for employers/sponsors is $125 until 8/17/18, and $150 afterwards, and will include registration for up to 3 people. We will list the name of the employers/sponsors on the event website, with a link to their website. Each employer/sponsor will have a table for their materials, with chairs for their representative(s), lunch is also included. If you plan to participate, please register as early as possible because the more employers/sponsors that we have listed on the event website will serve as an encouragement for more students to attend the event.
