Bonton Farms Chapter Community Service Event (moved from 4/13 to 5/11 due to inclimate wea

When:  May 11, 2019 from 09:30 AM to 12:00 PM (CT)
Associated with  Dallas Fort Worth Area Chapter
The Dallas Fort Worth IMA chapter will hold a community service project at Bonton Farms (6907 Bexar St., Dallas) on Saturday, May 11th from 9:30 AM to 12 PM.

Bonton Farms is an urban farm located in the neighborhood of Bonton in South Dallas. The Bonton neighborhood is located in a “food desert” (i.e., an urban area in which it is difficult to buy affordable or good-quality fresh food).

Join other chapter members and learn where food happens (and it’s not Tom Thumb) by collecting eggs, feeding livestock, weeding, harvesting vegetables and whatever else needs to be done.
